Mr. Lonnie Ray Ferrill

September 2, 1951 - May 13, 2014

Lonnie Ray Ferrill began his walk of life as the son to the late Arthur and Minnie Mae Ferrill on September 2, 1951 in Stonewall, MS His walk of life ended when he went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, MAy 13, 2014 at Jeff Anderson Hospital ER in Meridian, MS. Lonnie Ray confessed his love of Christ at an early age and joined Rising Star Baptist Church where she served as a Deacon. He united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Mae Temple Ferrill and to this union two sons were born. Lonnie Ray and Mae enjoyed 30 years of marital bliss. Lonnie Ray leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving and devoted wife, Willie Mar Temple Ferrill; his two sons: Desmond and Demetrius Ferrill; one grandson, Desmond Ferrill II; three brothers: Gene Otis (Annie) Adams and Douglas (Deborah) Ferrill, both of Meridian, MS and Leon (Loreata) Adams of Stonewall, MS; four brothers-in-law: Robert Bolden, William Temple, Leroy Rue Jr., all of Meridian, MS; and Ed Temple of Milwaukee, WI; four sisters-in-law: Lillie Hudson and Peggy Rue, both of Meridian, MS; Jean Glass and Patricia Stricklen, both of Milwaukee, WI; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
