Ms. Marveanna Shanice Tillman

Marveanna Shanice Tillman was born October 29, 2006 in Meridian, MS at Anderson Memorial Hospital. She joined Anointed Word Church in Quitman, MS and confessed her faith in God at a very early age. She was a student at Quitman Lower Elementary. Her mother kept her and her sisters active in their church participating in the drill team and praise dance team. Marveanna loved to dance and sing. She really loved being a big sister and was so excited to be able to be a cheerleader for the Quitman Youth Football Program. Her and her Aunt Ebony shared the same birthday and she would always beat Ebony calling to say “Happy Birthday” each year. She leaves to cherish her memories: her parents, Cornell’s & Cordero Laphand and Marquise Tillman, all of Quitman, MS; her grandparents: Felecia Robinson, Debbie Tillman, Matthew Conner, Andrea & Earlie Davis, all of Quitman, MS; William & Gayle Gaines of Waynesboro, MS; her great-grandfather, William Robinson of Chicago, IL; her aunts: Ericka (Mike) Walker, Ebony Robinson, Fiesha Robinson, Malaya Pruitt and Roshundra Tillman, all of Quitman, MS; Barbara Spain of Stonewall, MS and Terry Robinson of Hattiesburg, MS; her uncles: Raymond Robinson, William Robinson, Ronald Robinson, David Laphand & Roderick Laphand of Quitman, MS; Eric Robinson of Chicago, IL; Craig Tilman, Jamaal Taylor and William Gaines, Jr. of Waynesboro, MS; her great aunts: Donna Collins, Jeannie McCree and Kristy Tillman, all of Quitman, MS; Kathryn Owens of Pittsburg, CA; and her Auntie Diane Berry of Quitman, MS; her God-mother, Kayla Vale of Quitman, MS and someone special Stacy Atterberry of Stonewall, MS and a host of cousins and friends.
