Mrs. Mary Watts

March 3, 1952 - February 5, 2022

Mary Elizabeth Watts, the daughter of the late Eddie and Jennie Bounds, began life’s journey on March 3, 1952 in Shubuta, Mississippi. Being reared in a Christian home, Mary accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. Later in life, she united with the Spiritual True Holiness Church where she served until her health declined. Her educational years were spent at Shirley Owen School in Quitman, MS. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was notable known for her beautiful smile, kind heartedness, forwardness, wit, humor, and loving spirit. She was an exceptional cook who loved preparing meals for her family. She also had a passion for gardening. It was on July 13, 1987, Mary united in holy matrimony to her forever love, Willie B. Watts. On February 5, 2022, surrounded by God’s grace and his merciful angels, Mary heard and answered the call of her Lord and Savior. She leaves a legacy of love to her husband, Willie B.
