Mr. Roy Rush King

May 2, 1937 - April 9, 2022

Funeral services for Roy Rush King will be held Thursday, April 15, 2022 at the Webb and Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, Hwy 39N. Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior, Rev. Jermaine Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Roy Rush King, 84, of Marion died peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Roy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sarah King, daughter Stephanie I. King, daughter in law, Trinette King, grandchildren: Amber and Ariel Green, great grandchildren: Karmyn Roi and Kooper Morris, and a host of extended family members. In lieu of flowers, the King family suggests donations be made in his memory to St. Peter UMC or the American Cancer Society. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES ARE BEING PRACTICED FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR FAMILIES BEING SERVED AND OUR STAFF: Viewings: 1. All viewings are limited to one hour and no more than 10 people are allowed in the chapel at one time where social distancing is not possible. 2. Temperatures must be taken upon entering the lobby. Temperatures 100 degrees or more will not be allowed to enter. 3. All visitors must wear a mask and are not allowed to touch, hug or kiss the body. Graveside Services: 1. All services are Graveside. Those in attendance are asked to practice social distancing where possible and wear a mask.
