William Culpepper, Jr. was born June 14, 1979 to William Culppper, Sr. and Connie Tanksley in Chicago, Illinois. He transitioned from his earthly home on January 30, 2016 in Charleston, Missouri. Lil' Will, as most people called him, accepted Christ at an early age and united with Bethleham Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois under the leadership of Reverend Chambers Robinson. Lil' Will later moved to Meridian, Mississippi with his parents in 1992. He enjoyed playing baseball and swimming. He always had a smile on his face and was fun to be around. He loved all of his loved ones and he enjoyed life to the fullest. Lil' Will didn't mind helping out when or where he could. He worked with Adams Construction and Waste Management for a little while. His uncle Junior called him "Sugarbear." Lil' Will was preceded in death by his grandparents: Arthur and Nancy Steele Tanksley; and David and Pauline Culpepper; aunt: Sara Johnson; great-aunts: Dorothy Fox, Fannie Mae Fox Matthews, and Pearl Fox White; uncles: Tommie Culpepper, David Culpepper, Jr., Robert Culpepper, and Dell Drakes; great-uncles: Jimmy Lee Fox, Adam Fox, and St. John Fox. Lil' Will leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother: Connie (Ralph) Ewing, of Meridian, MS; his loving father: William (Janice) Culpepper, Sr. of New Albany, IN; two loving children: Brandon Green of Meridian, MS and Wilneisha Culpepper, of Indiana; four sisters: Kiesha Tanksley, of Meridian, MS, Pauline (Ricardo) Windham, of Collinsville, MS, Briana Griffin, of Meridian, MS, and Nicole Jackson, of New Albany, IN; three nieces: Roslyn Windham and Mha'Kailyn Williams, both of Meridian, MS, and Janaya Ross of New Albany, IN; four nephews: Deonta Culpepper, Ricardo Windham, Jr., and Deon Windham, all of Meridian, MS, and Jaylin Jackson of New Albany, IN; twelve aunts, Rose Phillips, Annie Rose Ford, Shirley Horton, Judy Tanksley, Pamela (James) Cole, Elizabeth Smith, Marion Carr, Terri Tanksley, and Rainell Carr; four uncles: Roger (Pauline) Tanksley, Arthur Tanksley, Raymond Tanksley, and Anthony Tanksley; Godmother: Deborah Culpepper; three great-uncles: Lonnie Steele, William Fox, and JL Jones; five great- aunts: Ella (Lee) Edmonson, Joyce Fox, Catherine Fox, Gladys Tanksley, and Laurice Tanksley; a special friend: Dedria Neil, of Louisville, KY and a host of cousins and friends.
