Be it known to all that I truly understand the words and the meaning of the poem, "When tomorrow Starts Without me"
Our bond spanned over twenty years and NOT ONE word of animosity. I miss youLittle Brother...Tomorrow has started. I will never forget you. Save me a place in Soul Heaven..
To the family, We are here for you.
Gus (Daddy-D) Weiss.
Condolences to Larry’s family. He attended school with me from elementary through High School. Larry was one of the good guys. I have never heard anything bad about him. He was quiet and got along with everyone. Because of his quietness, it was hard to imagine him as a DJ. Apparently he loved it because it was his life’s mission. He was a natural entertainer. Take your rest classmate. You will be missed.
I am deeply heartbroken for this loss we all share. I know that we will be comforted by our memories and love of Larry, which will always be very much alive within us. I will never forget the fond memories that my teammate and I had winning the State Football Championship and going on to college thereafter. He was in my backfield and forever will be my friend and teammate. He was able to effortlessly make everyone feel good who knew him and he will always be loved. May God bless his family during this dark time in their life. I will never forget how Larry had this "limp leg" when being tackled. The defender would try to tackle Larry and Larry would let his legs just go limp like he was going down. When the defender relaxed his grip, Larry just shot up and kept running. I was proud to be his fullback and having known such a great person, who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Larry Carr was a real not fake and he will be truly be missed. He helped me at the station writing commercials. Larry and i had good conversations at the station and had few laughs. To the Carr family Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal and weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in morning.
I pray for Mrs. Carr & children as well as the entire family. Thank you for sharing your husband's gifts & talents with the WZNJ-106.5FM Radio Station. He will be greatly missed.
