Ms. Ada Ree Silliman's Obituary
Ms. Ada Ree Silliman was born to the late Johnny and Martha Silliman on November 11, 1934.
Ms. Ada Ree was a longtime member of St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church in Lauderdale, MS. Before she became ill, she often attended church services and helped her daughter clean the church.
Ms. Ada loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime resident at Meridian Manor where she loved to cook salmon and biscuits for her neighbors.
On July 22, 2023, Ms. Ada Ree transitioned to be with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by two children, Mary L. Silliman and Randolph Silliman; two grandchildren: Sally Silliman and Robert Silliman, II; one great-grandchild: Jeresiah Warren; two brothers: Johnny Silli-man and Charlie Silliman; and one sister: Martha Silliman.
She leaves to forever cherish her memory three daughters, Fannie Lard, Bessie Silliman and Inece Hill all of Lauderdale, MS; four sons: Charlie Silliman (Shirley), Robert Silliman (Tiny) both of Meridian, MS, Johnny Silliman (Brenda) of Lauderdale, MS; and Rufus Silliman (Joyce) of Kemper County, MS; a special friend of the family: Mr. Dan Griffin; twenty-five grandchildren, sixty-one great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
