Mrs. Addie Ree Grace's Obituary
Ree Grace was born to the late J.C. Carlisle and the late Ann Patterson on February 6th, 1938, in Payneville Alabama. At a young age, Addie was guided by her faith and accepted Christ at Central Chapel Primitive Baptist Church in Livingston, Alabama.
For more than 40 years, Addie Ree was employed with The Rogers Family. Her dedication and profession was evident in the care and precision she brought into her work.
Addie was granted her angel wings on March 19, 2025 while surrounded by family at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital in Olive Branch, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ephraim Grace, father, J.C. Carlisle, mother, Ann Patterson, bonus mom, Willie Mae Carlisle, one brother, Willie "Nip" Moore, and three sisters, Susan "Moochie" Compton, Dorothy "Dot" Watson, and Hattie "Hat" Moore.
Addie leaves loving memories to be cherished by her children, Edward J. Grace of Meridian, MS, Larry B. Grace of Kansas City, KS, Lester C. Grace of Lauderdale, MS, Lina M. Grace of Southaven, MS and Barbara (Andre) R. Stell of Kansas City, KS; her siblings, Willie J. Moore (Hardenia) of Alabama, and Dorothy Drish of Michigan. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Kemish (Nathaniel Jr.), Letassha, Alecia, Brooke, Samantha, Lester Jr., Jeffrey, Larry, Shanika, Andre Jr., Dasha, Makayla; ten great grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friend; her special aunt, Annie Ruth Foy; her sister-in-law, Willie B. Grace; her bonus sisters, Maelee, Jean, Net, Hulley, Juliet, and Poochie; her true friend, Velma Richardson, and her bonus granddaughter, Shayla Little.
Addie will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to her family, faith, and community. Her warm smile, generous spirit, and steadfast dedication touched the lives of many. She leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and faith.
