Ms. Addie Wilson Morrison's Obituary
Addie Wilson Morrison was born to the late Arnold & Addie Tisdale Wilson on July 19, 1937.
Ms. Addie spent the majority of her adult life in New York City, New York. There, she married the late William H. Morrison and became a homemaker & mother to 11 children & 24 grandchildren. Later in life, she relocated to Collinsville, MS, where she lived next door to her loving and caring sister, Arvella, and faithful dedicated brother-in-law, Johnnie McKenzie.
Ms. Addie lived a quiet modest life in Collinsville. She became a faithful member of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she attended until her health began to decline.
She loved going to church, doing crossword puzzles, fishing, gardening, and being around family and friends. Living in the country seemed to have brought her peace and joy where she absolutely loved being outdoors.
She will always be remembered by all that came to know her for her beautiful infectious smile, her sweet humble personality and her witty attitude.
God saw her weariness and took her from pain on Sunday, October 9, 2022, as he knew her body was tired and her journey on this earth was complete.
