Mr. Alfred Davis Hicks was born March 26. 1975 to Alfred Davis, Jr. and Johnnie Mae Hicks in Gulfport, MS. He departed this life on April 23, 2016 in Tuscaloosa, AL. He attended Cokes Chapel United Methodist Church and Centerridge Baptist Church of Shubuta, MS at a very early age. He later visited other community churches until his death. He was a very loving person who never met a stranger. He gave his family and friends something much more precious than wealth. He gave his unconditional love and devotion freely and was always concerned for others. He had a smile that would light up a room, He was preceded lin death by his father; grandparents Curtis Edwards, Lilia (Alfred) Davis, Villa Hicks, and Roy McCarty. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his son: Todrian Laphand; his daughter Brashawnna Bumpers-Hicks; his grandchildren Kadence Joy and Todrian, Jr (TJ); mother Johnnie Mae Hicks; brothers Albert and Carl Hicks and Timmy (Joyce) Kelly; sister Vera Rachel Hicks; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
