Mr. Andy Smith's Obituary
A long, busy and steadfast life came to a close on April 8, 2019. Andy Smith was born on November 24, 1934 in Toomsuba Mississippi to Lamar Smith Sr. and Mary E. Smith. In this union was alos born three additional siblings: Will Smith, Lamar Smith Jr. and Ella Ruth Smith. Andy joined the United States Marine Corp in 1952. He moved to Chicago, Illinois shortly thereafter and worked for both Sears Roebuck and Co. and Ford Motor Company until retirement. As a hobby Andy enjoyed watching western movies and fishing. Andy was a master mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. Andy was preceded in death by: Lamar Smith Sr., Mary Smith, Ella Ruth Smith, and Ora Smith. Andy was loved by his family. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Mary Lorraine Smith; a blended family: Larry Smith (Gail), Micheal Smith, Ophelia Clay, Christopher Smith (Deborah), Victor Smith (Mildred), Bobby Ann Clark (Harold), Mary Ann Dawson, Virginia Foster (Gary), Randy Doss, and host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends .
