Mrs. Anise Jones Cole's Obituary
Miss Anise Jones was born on April 23, 1959 to the late Willie B. and Ernestine Jones. During her time on this earth, her personality was soft spoken, nurturing, yet caring. As a Mother she had a warm, loving spirit that brought joy to anyone who was in her presence. She always greeted everyone with a genuine concern of "How are you?” in spite of how she may have been feeling. Anise's entire life was involved within the church and embodied faithfully and cheerfully living out God's word. As a child, Anise joined and was later baptized at Pineville Missionary Baptist Church. She later joined New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until she married. After marriage, she moved her membership to be with her husband and became a member of Freedom Rock Christian Fellowship Church. While at Freedom Rock she was a faithful member and served with a warm hearted smile on the Hospitality Ministry. Anise obtained her childhood education by matriculating through The Wayne County Public School District. She graduated from High School and followed her heart's desire to help others by earning her Certified Nurse Assistant Diploma and then went on to work at various hospitals and nursing facilities throughout East Mississippi. A tug on her heart to care for others sparked a desire to do more. This led to Anise and her sister becoming business partners where they co-founded three private nursing facilities in Tacoma, Washington dedicated expressly to caring for the elderly. She later served as an in-home care private provider until her health failed. As a mother she carried her children in her heart and was always there for them to counsel and console them when they did not know what to do. As a wife she cared, cooked and loved unconditionally. As an Aunt her listening ear was always available and understanding. Anise walked with God all the while holding her family's hands. When they were drifting her grip of love became even stronger, but sadly on September 12, 2018 the time had come for her to let go of those hands and walk through the gates of heaven. Although it will be hard to see her go, her family can take solace in knowing that as long as they have God in their hearts so too will they always have her. Anise was preceded in death by her Mother Ernestine Jones, Brother Gradis "Grady"" Jones and Son of Love Brian Cole, and she leaves to cherish her memories ... Her Father, Willie B.
