Mrs. Annie Lee "Duke" Williams' Obituary
Annie Lee "Duke" Williams was born to the late Will and Mary Parker on February 2, 1949, in Savoy MS. At an early age Annie accepted Christ and joined Popular Springs Baptist Church. Duke, she was so fondly called, was a member of the Usher Ministry, Choir Ministry, Kitchen Ministry and the Missionary Society. She was always willing to assist any where she was needed. She loved her church and her church family. Duke was preceded in death by her parents: Will Parker and Mary Parker; one son: Robert Evans, Jr.; five brothers: Tommy Lee Parker, Robert Parker, George Parker, and Willie June Parker. She leaves to cherish her everlasting memories, a devoted companion: Percy Walker; a daughter: Patricia Evans, Atlanta, GA; a son, Tommy Parker Meridian, MS; three sisters, Vallie Thomas and Susie Parker both of Akron, OH; and Annie (Gene) Adams Meridian, MS; two brothers, Joe Willie Parker and Joe B.(Regina) Parker both of Meridian, MS; Nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends and a special friend Willie Houston.
