Mrs. Annie M. Mosley's Obituary
Annie McDonald-Mosley was born to George and Nan McDonald on the 25th day of September, 1918 in Heidelberg, Mississippi. Annie fell in love and married the love of her life Vardaman Mosley who preceded her in death. Annie was a hard working and loving person. She loved God. She loved her family. She was known for baking the best Red Velvet Cake that would melt in your mouth, she loved to sew and make quilts for her family. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and loved her church family. Annie had no children of her own but was a second mother to her nieces, Margie, Georgianna, Vera Regina, Veronica, Dessie(D), Vera Lee (D), her nephews Ronald Christopher(D), Charles(D), and Lee Jr. (D). They were raised in the home with her. She loved them as her own. Annie also had unconditional love for her sisters, brothers, her other nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Her goddaughter Brittany Hooks and her children Bradley, Brianna, Brenton, and Isabella. Great Great Nephews Anthony, Ron Jr. and Gomez; Great Great Niece Oya. A special thank you to her niece and daughter by another mother Vera Regina for making the daily trips to Bedford Care to care for her, show her love and to let her know that she was missed and not alone. Annie was preceded in death by her parents George & Nan, Sisters: Mattie, Ethel, Geneva, Polly, Brothers: Arthur, Cleveland, Lee, Eddie, and Lem. A special thanks to Rev. A.D. Lewis and our Mount Olive Baptist Church family for their visits, prayer and support. Bedford Care of Marion and Compassus Hospice. Annie left a legacy of many wonderful memories to her family. Sisters: Sallie Cooley and Veriee Dace. Goddaughter Brittney Hooks, Nieces Georgianna Dace-Coachman, Veronica Dace, Margie Hunter, Vera Lister, and a host of family and friends. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord.
