ANNIE L. PARKER was born Dec 14, 1919 in Choctaw County, AL to Dennis and Eliza Coleman, who proceeded her in death, the only girl of 5 children. Raised on a small farm in Alabama, She finished 8th grade and moved to Meridian, MS. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was an amazing woman who dedicated her life to being a house wife and raising her 2 children along with many other neighborhood children who often called her "Mama Parker'' "Annie L" as she affectionately loved to identify herself was called home to rest on July 12, 2019 at the righteous age of 99 years young surrounded by her family. She is proceeded in death by her husband J.D. Parker. 4 brothers, Eugene, Oliver, Agnew and Erogers Coleman. Her only son James Ruffin and 1st born great granddaughter Ta'Shondra Ivy. She leaves behind her Loving daughter Bertha Ruffin, 4 grandchildren Courtney Ivy, Danielle Ruffin, Latoya Ruffin and Roshunda Ivy. 4 great grandchildren, Patrice "Aurek" Griffin, Kenbria Jones, Kendreona Jones and Shondrea Ivy. A truly loving cousin Robert Darden and a close family friend Sandra Cross and a host of many other family and friends.
