Mrs. Annie Carol Williams' Obituary
Annie Carol Williams was born to the parentage of the late Eld. Herny and Sis. Viola Martin on Saturday, June 22, 1935 in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. She was the only child born to this union. She attended Stephenson School in Toomsuba, Misssissippi. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithul member of The Pentecostal Church of God under the leadership of Apostle W. J. Peterson in 1955. She remained there until her death. Later in life, she united into marriage with Oscar Cecil Richy-Wuliams. They reared three daughters: Mattie Pearl, Mary Ruth and Bobbie Joyce. She was affectionately known to many around Meridian and the surrounding area as "Ms. Annie". Many traveled for miles just to have her good cooking. For many years she fed countless of people at Steak & Eggs, Red Hot Truck Stop and Checkerboard until her health began to fail. Even after then, she cooked countless meals for her family. She was full of life and laughter. She loved God, leadership, her children, her family and friends. She was never happier than when she was sharing time with them. She has left us all with incredible memories. She departed her life on October 16, 2019 at 1:30 a.m. at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters: Sis.
