Mr. Anthony C. Davis' Obituary
Mr. Anthony Cornelius "Tony" Davis was born on September 22, 1954, to the late Jack and Ruth Lee "Pumpkin" Davis. He departed this life on February 17, 2024, at Ochsner Watkins Hospital in Quitman, MS.
At an early age, Anthony joined Little Zion United Methodist Church in Stonewall, MS. He graduated from Enterprise High School in 1972. He was later united in Holy Matrimony to Freddie Joyce Pickett on November 10, 1974.
Anthony retired from Burlington Industries after working for 25 years. He was also employed with Ed Used Cars in Stonewall, MS.
Anthony was preceded in death by his wife - Freddie Joyce Pickett Davis; one sister - Ollie Brenda Davis Earl; three brothers - George "Baby George" Davis, Sammy "Man" Davis, and Kenneth "Ooley Davis; and one grandson - Courtland S. Mosley.
He leaves to cherish his memories forever: three sons - Eric Pickett, Anthony C.
Davis, Jr., and Jeremy (Nicole) Davis - all of Stonewall, MS; two daughters Melissa (Ken) Bland of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Sharon (Randy) Tillman of Hattiesburg, MS; two brothers Jack (Lori) Davis of Vermont and Isom (Felisha) Davis of Brandon, MS; special friend - Dolly Nicholson; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
