Mrs. Barbara Starks' Obituary
Barbara Jean Ward Starks was born July 6, 1953 in Meridian Mississippi to Albert Ward and Janie Mae Blakney who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her step father, John Blakney and brothers; Jamie Ward, Raymond Blakney and Bobby Ward. Barbara was under the spiritual leadership of the Late Bishop J. D. Traylor, Pastor MarzelI Moore, and her present pastor: Pastor Cherry Moore. On June 16, 2015 in Meridian, MS at Jeff Anderson Hospital, Sister Barbara departed this life. She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted and laving husband of 15 years, Robert Starks; one daughter, Lateasha Hunter, one son, Antonio Hunter, three grandchildren; Charday Naylor, Justin Hunter, Markiya Hunter, one great grandchild; Mariah Pritchett. Her siblings include two brothers, David (Juanita) Blakney and Johnnie Blakney of Meridian, MS; two step brothers Joseph Ward of Meridian, MS,· Jim (Terrie) Ward of Biloxi, MS; One step sister Janeva Ward of Meridian MS. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
