Ms. Barbara Ann Warren's Obituary
Barbara Ann Warren was born on February 18, 1964 to John L. and Cherry Warren. She was granted her wings on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Barbara Ann had touched in some small way throughout her memorable life. Barbara Ann's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. She gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. Her gentle smile brought so much joy to the family. Barbara Ann received her education through Meridian Public School District where she excelled in her studies. She loved to cook and used her talents at Meridian Public School District and Western Sizzlin' where she was employed until her health failed her. She was very passionate about beautifying outdoors. You could always find her working countless of hours in her mother's yard planting and grooming plants. In her leisure time she enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Barbara Ann was a devoted and loving person and she leaves to cherish her memories: six sons: Jarvis (Ashley) Warren of Dallas, TX; Marques Warren, Derrick Warren, Rodriques Warren, Jaqurius Warren and Elijah Warren all of Meridian, MS; father and mother, John L. and Cherry Warren both of Meridian, MS; three sisters, Katherine (Michael) Warren, Sarah "Toosie" Warren and Ruby Norman all of Meridian, MS; two brothers, John L. Warren Jr. of Erie Pennsylvania and Eddie Penry of Meridian, MS; her grandmother, Ruby Lockhart of Meridian, MS; fourteen grandchildren; a special friend: Elijah Walker; host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
