Mr. Benjamin Johnson Davison's Obituary
On September 20 1931, Benjamin Davison and Queen Ester Martin Johnson Davison was blessed with a son who they named Benjamin Johnson Davison.
Ben was a quiet man. He was compassionate, caring, and humble man with a heart of love, joy, friendliness and peacefulness to his family and friends.
Ben had a passion for 18 wheelers. He started driving them at a very early age and continued to drive for over 50 plus years before retiring in 2017. He worked for Triple P and later Sojourner Trucking Company.
On June 28, 2008, he united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Ruby Genell Fox.
Ben passed from life into eternity on June 18, 2021 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS.
He was preceded in death by: his parents: Benjamin and Queen Ester Davison; brothers: Henry Alvin Johnson and Charles Lemon; sisters: Floristesin Wilson and Mattie Lemon Kelly; two grandsons: Javin Fox and Fabin Lovell Johnson.
He leaves to forever cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife, Ruby Genell Fox Davison; son, Benjamin Davison Jr.; step-son, Willie Fox; four brothers: Will (Gloria) Johnson, George (Bo) Johnson, Lester Lemon (Mattie Mae), and Odell Lemon, Jr.; six sisters: Earnestean Showers, Helen (Aaron) Burks, Maxine Ratcliff (Howard), Mable Joseph (Arthur), Francis Lemon Kelly (EJ) and Rita Lanier (George); three grandchildren: Tori, Ajheran, and Darius; three great-grandchildren: Amira, Gabriella and Decue; brother-in-law, Percy Fox; sisters-in-law: Glenda Deans and Brenda Fox; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
