Mr. Benjamin F. Willis Sr.'s Obituary
Benjamin Franklin Willis, Sr. was born on May 15, 1957 to the late Tommie Willis and Carrie Mae Willis. He accepted Christ at an early and was united with Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was educated through the Meridian Public School District where he attended Meridian High School. He loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest as much as he possibly could. He was a loving and devoted man who loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. They truly were the apple of his eye and held a very special place in his heart. He also loved working and his dog. He was a truck driver for many years. Benjamin's earthly journey was completed and it was time that his departure was at hand. God called him home on Monday, January 16, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie and Carrie Mae Willis; his sister, Patricia Louise Davis; his brother, Anthony Willis; his granddaughter, Destiny Willis. He leaves behind to honor his legacy and cherish his memories his children: Benjamin (Kenyatta) Willis, Jr. and Danielle Willis; grandchildren: Gabrielle Willis, Benjamin Willis III, and Kyngston Willis; siblings: Lawrence (Talisha -deceased) Willis, Tommie Jean (Willie) Ingram, Cheryl (Rev. James) Logan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Benjamin will truly be missed by all who knew him.
