Mr. Bennard Evans' Obituary
On Friday, September 11, 2015 at 6:20 a.m. at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS, the Lord opened the door of Heaven and Brother Bennard Evans entered into eternal rest. Bennard was born February 26, 1967 to Shirley D. Porter Kendall and Joseph N. Kendall -biological father, Ben Evans. Bennard confessed Christ at an early age and joined Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Heidelberg, MS. Bennard attended Shady Grove Head Start and Washington D.C. Public Schools. Bennard also attended Vesta School for Special Needs, Upper Marlboro, Maryland in which he obtained gainful employment. Bennard's favorite past time was watching football and sketching. His favorite holiday was Christmas and his birthday. There are many attributes that one may possess in life, but the greater one is love. Bennard not only shared love with his family, but everyone he met along the way. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother and father: Shirley D. Kendall and Joseph N. Kendall, Jr.; two brothers: Rodney R. Evans and Arnell N. Kendall (Lunetta); one step brother, Benjamin Evans; three step sisters: NaSharon Vaughn, La Shunda Wilson and Timika Evans; eight uncles; eight aunts; two nephews; one deceased niece, Parris L. Evans; and a host of other relatives and friends.
