Mr. Bennie Lee Hurde's Obituary
Mr. Bennie Lee Hurde was born on April 8, 1951 to the late Willie Hurde, Sr. and Dora Mae Hurde.
Bennie was educated in the Meridian Public School system and worked for over 30 years as a very skilled and hardworking Brick Mason.
For all those that knew Bennie, he will be remembered as a gentle, yet strong soul who never complained, not even as his health began to fail.
Bennie was proceeded in death by his parents Mr. Willie Hurde, Sr. and Mrs. Dora Mae Hurde and one sister, Easter Mae Windom.
He leaves to cherish his memories one brother, Albert Hurde of Detroit, MI and one sister, Mary Gaines of Livingston, AL. He will also be truly missed by his longtime soulmate of 14 years, Dorothy Davis and Jontae Portis, Sr., who was just like a son to him. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, grandkids, and friends who will miss him dearly.
