Mrs. Bermer Arie Johnson's Obituary
Bermer Arie Trotter Johnson was born November 20, 1936 in Vossburg, Mississippi. She was on of fourteen children born to the late John Hal Trotter and Mrs. Leona Kurt Trotter.
Bermer Arie Trotter Johnson was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist church. Bermer attended Meridian Baptist Seminary School in Meridian, MS.
She later relocated to Florida, and got married to Timothy Johnson on May 21, 1971 in Moore Haven, Florida. Bermer has four children.
Family and Friends knew her by the nicknames of “Bonnie Jean” or “Bae”. Throughout her life, she touched many people’s lives with laughter, encouragement, and wisdom. Most people who knew her would say she was a comedian at times. She loved to laugh and eat sweets. In her own right, she was a safe haven for many in times of trouble. Bermer would always say “Prayer changes things,” and “Nothing fails but a try.”
She was proceeded in death by her parents; John Hal Trotter, Leona Trotter, Porter Trotter, Robert Trotter, Jimmy Trotter, Aaron Manning, John Delvin, Millie Mae Trotter, Ora Trotter, Rosie Lee Hinkle and Dora Little.
Bermer leaves to celebrate the memories: two sons, Bishop Goldsmith and Christopher Campbell; two daughters, Sandra Pickens McClain, and Gloria Johnson. One sister, Sella Trotter.
Grandchildren: Sharie Pickens, Ricco Lewis, Henry Lewis, Curtis Lewis, Roderick Lewis, and Fredshickus Pickens, Zaria Nurse, Jasmine Goldsmith, Yenita Hopson, Sheamka Hopson, Sequinia Walker, Marquez Williams, and Christopher Williams.
Great Grandchildren: Alexis Williams, Leslie Williams, Jr., Auhlayah Sims, Alexis Williams, Christianna Williams, Elijah Lewis, Teyanna Lewis, and Ezekiel Lewis, Brooklyn Walker, Quandarius Pickens, Justice Curtis, Jad’akis Hopson, Jarvis Walker, Cameron Nurse, Khalid Nurse, Jr., Qua’myajia Hopson, Ji’laeni King, Ca’shila King and friends to cherish the memories.
