Although she was a cousin, our mother made us call her Mrs. Bernice out of respect due to her being senior to us, a Southern expectation. She was a terrific hairdresser. Some of my fondest memories are Saturdays spent at Southern Beauty Salon. She was a survivor. God Bless and keep you- Earline Jimerson Lucas
