Mrs. Bessie L. Campbell's Obituary
Bessie Louise Little Campbell, affectionately known as "Bee", was born Sunday, September 11, 1927 to Ceasar Little and Janie Little in Scooba, Kemper County, MS. She was the third child of thirteen children. She confessed hope in Jesus Christ and becme a member of Union Baptist Church in Scooba, MS where she served on the Usher Board and any other capacity where needed. She was a woman of great faith and · was totally committed to attending church services. She also enjoye being an Eastern Star for many productive years. Bee received her formative education in the public school system of Scooba, MS. In December 1946, she united into Holy Matrimony to Harvey Lee Campbell. Their union was blessed with six lovely children. She also raised four grandchildren as her very own. Bee was a dedicated employee at Lynville Glove Factory for numerous years. After her retirement, she became an Avon Sales Representative which brought her great joy and enthusiasm in helping others, and becoming a· part of so many people's lives. Her son, Burlee, made numerous trips froni Texas to fulfill this desire. Bee was a kindhearted and caring person who was always willing to share and help others. She was very independent, strong-willed, and outspoken. She loved to sing, cook, travel, fish, spend quality time with her family, and care for her grandchildren, which was her ultimate joy. On Thursday, J1,1ly 9, 2020 at 11:30 a.m., she was called to her eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Lee Campbell; daughter, Margie C. Jenkins; father, Ceasar Little; mother, Janie Little; a sister, Mary; and four brothers, James Curtis, Ceasar, Jr., Leotis, and Roosevelt. Bee leaves to cherish her sweet memories: five children, Johnny, Burlee, Betty, Catherine (Henry), and Faye (Greg); five sisters, Juanita, Catherine, Mattie, Janie, and Julia (Wendell); two brothers, Jesse and Ulysses (Pearl); favorite grandchild, Travis; three sisters-in-law, Ruth, Eunice, and Mae Lou; sixteen (16) grandchildren; forty-three (43) great grandchildren; thirty-two (32) great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
