Mrs. Bessie B. Hill's Obituary
Bessie B Neal Hill was born on March 15, 1929 to the late Louis Neal and Cora Ramsey Neal in Lauderdale County. Bessie accepted Christ at an early age. She united with Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Daleville, MS where she was a faithful and dedicated member until her health failed her. She served Antioch well as a Sunday School Teacher, an Usher, Secretary of Mission Ministry and a member of the Food and Beautification Committee. She was quite unique and creative. She made flower pots from old car tires, and was well known for her homemade lemon pies. She loved working in her flower yard and her garden. She attended T. J. Harris High School in Meridian, MS. Bessie was employed by NAS Meridian at the Galley for 17 years. After retirement she began working for Northeast Lauderdale Elementary School Cafeteria.
Bessie B was united in holy matrimony to the late Jesse Tom Hill and to this union six children were born, four sons and two daughters. On Monday, July 29, 2019 God dispatched his angel ta come and bring her safely home. She answered her call at her residence. Bessie B. was preceded in death by Her husband Jesse Tom Hill and three sons; Charles Hill, Ervin Hill and Jesse James Hill, her parents, Louis and Cora Neal, two sisters Beatrice Richburg and Mattie Green, four brothers Jeffery Ramsey, John D Neal, Willie Neal and L. V. Neal. Leaving to Cherish the celebration of her life are three children, son Clarence {Cathy) Hill of Los Angeles, CA; two daughters Dianne (Perry) Hill Lewis of Collinsville, MS and Estella Hill Williams of Daleville, MS; Twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; a sister-n-law Annie Florence Ramsey of Meridian, MS; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends, a dear and devoted friend Mattie B Finley of Cleveland, Ohio.
