Betty Mae Collins was born on October 22, 1954 to the late Henry and Daisy Mae Collins. She departed this life on March 22, 2020 at Oaks Nursing home in Meridian, Ms. Sis Betty was baptized at an early age in the Pentecostal Church of God She worked as a DCP at East MS State Hospital until her health faile.d her. Sis Betty was preceded in death by her father (Henry Collins) and mother (Daisy Mae Collins). A niece (Linda Collins), nephew (Reggie Collins), aunt (Bell Genia Collins), two uncles Oames and Eugene Collins) and two grandmothers (Olivia Collins and Velma McClleland). She leaves to cherish her memories six sisters: L Kay (Willie) Thornton of Rowlette, TX, Lula Williams, of Houston TX, Diane Porter, Patricia Hudson, Brenda Collins, and Lucille (Amos) Brewster, of Meridian, MS. Four brothers: Leslie (Velma) Collins, Larry (Rhonda) Collins, Andra Collins all of Meridian, MS. Marcus (Contona) Collins, of State Line, MS. Four aunts: Katie Mae McClleland, Berniece Collins, of Meridian, MS. Genell Hughes, Aaron Park, FL and Rena Mae Broaden, of Missouri Thirty-four (34) nieces and nephews, thirty-two (32) great nieces and nephews, a host of cousins and friends.
