Mrs. Betty Faye Perry's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Faye Blank Hall Perry was born on January 2, 1943, to Mr. Archie and Mattie Blanks.
She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and joined St. John Missionary Baptist church in Meridian, MS.
Betty attended Meridian Public Schools where she graduated from T.J. Harris High School in 1961. Betty married her high school sweet heart, Mr. Charlie (Gator) Hall, Jr. To this union, four children were born. after the death of her husband, she remarried Mr. Eddie Perry. She was very happy and enjoyed life until his death. Betty was blessed with another beautiful daughter later in life with Mr. Willie Ludgood.
Betty worked for the Meridian Public School system as a dedicated and passionate bus driver for special need children until her retirement. She then devoted all her time to her family and most of all, her loving daughter, Jackie. Her hobbies she enjoyed included cooking, traveling, gardening and singing.
She departed this life on April 4, 2019 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS. she was preceded in death by: her parents, Archie & Mattie Blanks; her two husbands: Charlie Hall; and Eddie Perry; one grandson, Thomas Omar Anderson
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: 5 beautiful children: Michael Hall, Pamela Hall, Jackie Hall, Melisa Hall and Serita Hall Wilburn, all of Meridian, MS; one sister, Mary Frances Blanchard; three brothers: Milton (Bernice) Hill, Joseph Hill and Eugene Lloyd, all of Meridian, MS; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
