Mrs. Bettye Jean Davis' Obituary
Sister Bettye J. Davis was born May 06, 1950 to the late Bobby Jordan Sr. and the late Charlene Jordan. She was preceded in death by her loving brother and sister Bobby Jordan Jr, and Bernice Gayfield, and her beloved nephew Curtis McGlothin Jr. Sister Bettye accepted Christ at an early age and later joined with Greater Calvary MB Church in Meridian, MS. She departed her life on February 15, 2021 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center Meridian, MS. She leaves to Cherish her precious memories: A loving husband Jerry Davis; (3) Sons Le Derrick Alford; Maurice Alford; and Eric (Shanelle) Alford of Meridian, MS; (1) Sister-in-law Rosie M. Clark of Long Beach, MS; (2) Brother-in-law Dennis Carter of Jackson, MS; and Johnson Davis of Newton, MS. (12) Grandkids Duntee Lee; Marquis Clayton; Justin Willis; Jashanti Alford; Jaben Alford; Jailiyiah Alford; Jaquandria Pringle; Ameir Alford; Ayana Alford; Sa'Raja Alford; LaDesha Alford; and LaBresha Alford of Meridian, MS (1) Niece Angela Shepherd (1) Nephew Bernard McGlothin. and a host of greatgrandkids, cousins, and friends who all loved her dearly.
