Mrs. Bobbie J. Hill's Obituary
Bobbie L. Hill was born from the union of the late Willie Johnson and Ollie Louise Johnson in Lauderdale County, Mississippi on December 13, 1945. She was the youngest of their children. Bobbie grew up in Oak Grove MB Church community as a child. She joined Galilee MB. Church under the Pastorate of the late Dr.MC. Thompson, Sr. and remained a faithful member for over 40 years. One of her fondest joys was taking part in the annual Vacation Bible School. She never denied mak-ing her signature dish as often as requested. Bobbie received her education from Wesch/er and Magnolia Schools of Me-ridian. She attended some college. She became a licensed cosmetologist. Bobbie retired.from East Mississippi State Hospital after 30 years of service as a Direct care worker. She also worked at Alliance Health Center. After her retirement, she worked part-time in various capacities. In 1964, Bobbie Johnson united in holy matrimony to the late Bobby Hill. To this union one child was born, Rhonda Michelle Hill, who preceded her in death. Bobbie's only grandchild, Kwanzaa Imani Hill was her pride and joy. Bobbie proudly loved her family, The Hill's, The McCoy's and the Johnson's. She was affectionately known as "Aunt B" by her many nieces and nephews. She was blessed with many faithful and loyal friends who were always just a call away. Bobbie transitioned.from this life on Friday, February 14. 2020. She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Ollie Louise Johnson of Meridian, MS; her only grandchild: Kwanzaa Imani Hill of Starkville, MS; one sister: Willie Mae Rackley of Meridian, MS; one brother: Charles E. Johnson (Tammie) of Vic-torville, CA; a cousin who was like a brother: Charles D. Parks (Dorothy) of Cincinnati, OH; one sister-in-law: Mrs. Bernice Hill of Meridian, MS and one uncle: L. C. Grant of Jacksonville, FL. And a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins,. relatives and friends.
