Mr. Bobby Eric Carr's Obituary
Bobby Eric Carr was born on July 5, 1967 in Meridian, MS to the late Mary Louise Bell Carr and the late Albert Benn. Bobby was the youngest of eleven children.
Bobby was baptized at an early age at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Meridian, MS. He would say his favorite scripture was John 11:35 which states: "Jesus wept". He loved it because it was the easiest for him to remember while attending Vacation Bible School.
He attended Meridian High School where he was a proud member of the Meridian Wildcat football team! He was super proud of their 1986 state championship and earning his championship ring!
Bobby left his earthly vessel on Monday, July 24, 2023 while living out his dream of being an over-the-road truck driver.
Bobby was preceded in death by his loving mother, Mary Louise Bell Carr, his father, Albert Benn, and his brothers, David Carr, Charles Carr, Harold Carr (Emma Lois), Reginald Carr, and Larry Carr.
Bobby is survived by his five children: Byron Calhoun (Shannon) of Flowood, MS, Armond Carr (Kereon) of Gluckstadt, MS, A'zia Carr Lee (Shawn), Bryce Carr of Meridian, MS, and Zybria Carr of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren, Kierra Calhoun, Kerrigan Carr, Amiyah Lee, Josiah Calhoun Velo, Alaiya Lee, Autumn Calhoun, and Khloe Carr; his siblings, Dorothy Graham, of Orlando, FL, Barbara Lynch (George), Mary Ott (late James), Miria "Pam" Rainey (Jerome) of Meridian, MS, Sylvia Carr of Champagne, IL; sisters-in-law: Rhonda Carr and Melinda Carr; a host of nieces and nephews, who respectfully called him "Unk" or "Uncle Bobby," cousins, and a special friend, Nancy Johnson.
