Bonnie Faye Smith Rush was born on February 5, 1957 in Meridian, MS to Rosie Smith and the late Lewis Butchee Smith. God called her home to rest on Thursday, November 13, 2014.
Mrs. Bonnie Faye Rush attended Meridian Public School system. She was united in holy matrimony to Alvin Rush of Preston, MS where three children were born from the union: Tjwana (Lavon) Bohannon of Meridian, MS, Alvin Lavon Rush of Meridian, MS and Pamela (Frankie) Odom of Meridian, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews and 10 grandchildren.
Mrs. Bonnie Faye Rush was a dedicated employee of Wal-Mart Super Center for 20+ years where she always greeted everyone with a smile. Mrs. Rush leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Rosie Smith (Meridian, MS0; her sisters, Joann Durr, Patricia Norman, Perry Smith, Wanda Smith, and Ms. Evelyn Smith all of Meridian, MS. Also, five brothers: Mr. Larry Horn and his wife Sabrina (Lockport, New York), Charles Ray Smith and his wife Cynthia, Fredrick Smith and his wife Darla, both of Meridian, MS, Rodrick Smith and his wife Rena of Jackson, MS and Rodney Smith and his wife Brenda of Liberty, New York. She was preceded in death by her loving father Lewis Butchee Smith, and two brothers: Johnny Smith, and Ernest James Harris.
