Mr. Booker T. "Bump" Hall's Obituary
Mr. Booker T. “Bump” hall was one of the 10 children born to Mrs. Ora D. Hearn Hall and Mr. Charlie Hall Sr. On June 8, 1942.
Booker T or “Bump” as we call him attended school in the city of Meridian and was graduate of the Class of 1963 of T. J. Harris High School. He also played football where he was the team star defense back player. He enlisted in the United States Army where he served 22 years. He received a Purple Heart for his bravery. Booker was well known in the community as “Sarge” Because of his dedication to serve his country.
He departed this life on March 11, 2018 at Jeff Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Charlie Hall Sr., a brother Charlie (Gator) Hall Jr.; a daughter, Shelia Moore; two grandchildren, all of Moss Point, MS; five sisters: Estola Faye Clay, Cathy Hall, Carol Hall, Susan (Larry) Hardaway all of Meridian, MS and Sandra Hall Roberts of San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Willie (Dick) Hall of Minneapolis , MN and Larry F. Hall of Meridian, MS; two step sons, Kenny and William Glenn of Meridian, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
