Brenda Louise (Green) Landrum was bom March 13, 1959 in Meridian, Mississippi to Rosie Green and the late Ozie Green Sr.
Brenda accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age at Free Gospel Temple Church. She also attended Spring Hill Baptist Church in her later years, before her health started to decline. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and a faithful friend. She worked numerous years as a healthcare worker. She loved taking care of her patients. She loved to cook. She was very kind-hearted. She always helped anyone in need of prayer and spiritual guidance.
On Friday, June 7, 2019, God called Brenda home to Heaven. She is preceded in death by her father: Ozie Green Sr.; grandmother: Mary Portis; step-father: Robert Simmons; brother: Ozie Green Jr.; sister: Angela Green; aunt: Legertha Portis; uncles: James (Murrie Lee) and Samuel Portis; nephews: Daontrelle Green and Jaquarius Dunnigan; cousin: Craig Portis. She leaves to cherish her memories: Her mother: Rosie Green; two sisters: Elois (Jerry) Green and Loria "Ann" Hampton; three Brothers: Jerry (Clemmie) Green, James Green, and Marcus (Priscillia) Green; two daughters: Katrina Landrum and Pamela Ball; two sons: Lorenzo (Ieshia) Landrum and Bryan Landrum. eight grandchildren: LaCedric Williams Jr., Jourdan Williams, Asya Landrum, Joy Beaver, London Landrum, Ja'Khya Ball, Jeffery Ball II, Alanna Landrum; and her close friends: Jeffery (Mary) Anderson, Linda Miller, Phyllis (Heam) Chatman, Linda Johnson; daughters-in-love: Cassandra Landrum, Jerlonda Stapleton; son-in-love: Jeffery Ball; and a host of family and friends.
