Calvin Lee Cook was born on April 16, 1945 to Roosevelt and Mary Louise Cook. Calvin Lee Cook worked for many years as a welder in Youngstown, Ohio. Calvin Lee Cook better known as (Munk) was greatly fond of gardening and attending family gatherings in which he was the life of the party. Calvin Lee Cook was married to Fannie Cook for 25 years.
Calvin Lee Cook departed this life on February 12, 2014 and is preceded in death by his father Roosevelt Cook and (1) brother Johnnie Roy Cook.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving mother: Mary Louise Cook of Lauderdale, MS. (5) children: Calvin Cook Jr. and Janet Dean of Meridian, MS. Rodney (Urceal) Cook, Marcus Cook, and Michael (Alisha) Cook all of Youngstown, Ohio. (11) sisters and brothers: Dorothy Ruffin of Cuba, Al; Bertha Perry, Helen (MJ) Austin, Joann (Ernie) Blackshear, Abell (Johnny) Creer, Barbara (Willie) Salisbury, Roosevelt (Gloria) Cook all of Lauderdale, MS; Ruth Ann (Robert) Morris of Memphis, TN; Bonnie (Ronald) Clark of Mobile, Al; Eddie (Lillie) Cook of Marion, MS; and Derrick Cook of Meridian, MS. Friend Rose Sims, a special niece Shanta Collins, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who loved him dearly.
