Ms. Carolyn An Price was born on June 8, 1954 to Annie Florence and Frank Price of Enterprise, Mississippi. She departed this life on August 17, 2021 at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Carolyn was a member of Magolia United Methodist Church in Enterprise, Ms under he Pastoral leadership of Reverend Well. She attended and graduated from Central High School in Enterprise, MS in 1973. Carolyn was employed with Quitman Knitting Mills in Quitman for many years.
Carolyn was an amazing woman in all her endeavors. She was preceded in death by her parents: Annie Florence & Frank Price; 2 sons: DeWayne McGowan and Earl Green, Jr.; 1 brother, army Price; and 2 sisters: Betty Jean Price and Peggy Jean Price.
her legacy will live on through loving memories held by those whom she loved most dearly: her children: Kidada McGowan of Hattiesburg, MS; Diana (Pierre) Stanley and Romono McGowan of Enterprise, MS; 3 sisters: Bobbie Joe Price of Enterprise, MS; Ella Harper of Racine, WI; and Annie Edmonson (Harry Scott) of Chicago, IL; 4 brothers, George Henry (Kathy) Price of Enterprise, MS; Frank Jr. (Gilded) Price of Iowa City, ID; J.C. (Lillie) Price of Meridian, MS; and Jerry (Thelma) Price of Stonewall, MS; and aunt & uncle, Ruby Stone and Willie Lee Overstreet of Chicago, IL; and a host of grandkids, great grandkids, cousins, nephews, and friends.
