Mrs. Carrie Webster Cole's Obituary
Ms. Carrie Webster Cole passed away Monday, July 11, 2017 at the Anderson Regional South Hospital in Meridian, MS. Carrie was born April 1, 1935 in Noxubee County, Brooksville, MS. The daughter of the late Willie James Blakney and the late Hattie Bell Roberson Gordon.Carrie was united in marriage to the late Grady Webster, Sr. on December 9, 1950. To this union, six (6) children were born.
Carrie joined the church at an early age. She had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Meridian, MS and she served faithfully until her health failed. She was preceded in death by a son, Grady Webster, Jr.
She leaves to cherish memories: her four (4) daughters, Alberta (Oliver) Labadie of Boston, MA, Hattie Tucker, Sarah Turner, Gracie Lee Webster, all of Meridian, MS; her son, John (Lisa) Webster of Meridian, MS; a daughter-in-law, Emma Webster of Meridian, MS; two (2) special grandsons, Richard (Lisa) Webster of Jackson, MS and Tyrone Webster of Indianapolis, IN; two (2) brothers: Hollis (Ethel Lee) Ray, Johnny Davis Ray, both of Meridian, MS; a God daughter, Tina Cole of Meridian, MS, a special caregiver, Pam Williams of Butler, AL; thirteen (13) grandchildren, three (3) step grandchildren, ten (10) great grandchildren, six (6) step grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
