Ms. Cassie T. Cole's Obituary
Cassie T. Cole was born September 5, 1951 in Meridian, MS to Curtis and Annie Mae Roland who preceded her in death. She was one of five children. Her brothers Curtis Jr., Eartha and Willie Earl also preceded her in death.
She confessed Christ at an early age and united membership with Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Meridian, uniting under Rev. Spanks. she faithfully served in the Red Circle of the Missionaries.
Cassie began her formal education at West End Elementary School and graduated from TJ Harris High School in 1969. Cassie worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant before being advanced to a Unit Secretary at Anderson Hospital where she worked for 18 years. She also worked 23 years at Riley’s Hospital as a Unit Secretary. Cassie was united in matrimony to Albert Cole and to this union, two children were born, Kevin and Tamara. In later years, she acknowledged that Robert (Bob) Jackson was a person of importance to her well-being.
Cassie departed this life on Thursday, May 28, 2020. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving son, Kevin L. Cole (Tina) of Sacramento, CA; and Tamara L. Cole Arnold (Anthony) of Indianapolis, IN; step-daughter, Sandra Stancil (Glenn); her devoted sister, Rhonda Scott (Mark); brothers: Michael and James Curtis Roland; sister, Amelia Washington; sister-in-law, Shuntay Roland; ten grandchildren: Thomas, Cassietta, Katrina, Brandon, Barron, Blair, Brionna, Babylon, Courtney, and Eric; step-granddaughter, Kayla; great-grandchildren: Zaleea, Yolanda, Ayvah-Dior, Jazale-Benet, Tylon, Princeton, Estonrei, and one soon to meet the public, Amaris D. Cole; nephew, Zachary Scott, Justin Scott, Brian Velez, Kendall Taylor, and niece, Anna Taylor, and a host of other loving nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends.
