Bro. Caster D. Horne was born March 15, 1954, in Meridian, Mississippi to the late Rev. Robert Lee Horne and Mrs. Lular Mae Horne.
He was loved by family and everyone who knew him. He departed this life on Thursday, March 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Robert Lee Horne and Mrs. Lular Mae Horne; two sisters, Ollie Pearl Bryant and Linda Horne; one brother, Sylvester Horne.
His marvelous life will forever be cherished in the lives of his five children: Caster, Jr. (Felisha) Horne of Omaha, Nebraska;
Shantell Davis of Omaha, Nebraska; Jaquan Williamson of Omaha, Nebraska; Corey Horne of Meridian, Mississippi;
Dontay Horne of Meridian, Mississippi; nine grandchildren, Tay, Nia, Dominique, Lachelle, Caster III, Jaquan Jr., Tayevion, Soniyah, and Shahidah; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mary (Donald) Naylor of Meridian, Mississippi; Brenda (John) Avery of Birmingham, Alabama; Gloria Cole of Meridian, Mississippi; Barbara Benjamin of San Diego, California; two brothers, Robert (Essie) Horne of Denver, Colorado; James Horne of Omaha, Nebraska; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
