Ms. Cathy Bernice Hill's Obituary
Cathy Bernice Hill, was born September 25, 1956 in Lauderdale County Mississippi. She United with Freedom Rock Christian Fellowship Church on Wednesday May, 10, 2000. She was a faithful; and committed choir member, her faithfulness was one to be compared. She loved God and didn't take a second thought to praising Him with her whole heart. She was employed at East Mississippi Correctional Facility. There she would always tell of the goodness of her sweet Jesus. She was preceded in death by her Parents Ms. Minnie Friend and Mr. West Moore. One Son, Travis Hill. One Sister, Mrs. Sarah Hampton, One Aunt Mrs. Bernice Wilson. Transitioning within days of her was one sister Ms. Shirley Renee Nicholson. Memories of Cathy are cherished by one loving son Rodrico (Jenetta) Hill, One God Daughter, Amanda Jenkins, Two granddaughters, Tiara Davis, and Traliyah Ariel Hill. Two Grandsons, Mr. Travion Olandus Hill, and Mr. Amir Austin Baylor. One Sister, Mrs. Carol Clayton, all of Meridian, Ms. A Niece, Veronica Hampton, (a special cousin to Rodrico) Biloxi,MS. One .First Cousin (grew up as sisters) Rev. Edwinna Wilson Davis Cincinnati Ohio. A few very close friends, Stacey Bennoman, Nina Grady and Willie Ruffin all of Meridian. Her immediate Supervisor Mr. Ray Rice, whom she had much respect and appreciation for. Two people whom she loved, and called her Brother and Sister, Deacon Andre Rodgers, and Mrs. Sherry Rodgers. A host of nieces, nephews, friends and family. Bishop Elect and First Lady Hedgemon and the Freedom Rock Church Family.
