Mr. Chalmers Windham's Obituary
Chalmers Windham was born on August 8, 1943 in Heidelberg, Mississippi to the late Tommie and Maggie Jones Windham, the second oldest of five children. Chalmers attended college at Alcorn Agriculture and Mechanical College. He served in the U.S.Army as a Sergeant and was honorably discharged in 1972. He was employed for over 30 years at J.I. Case in Racine, Wisconsin. After retirement, he moved back to his hometown Heidelberg, Mississippi. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie and Maggie Jones Windham and his father-in-law, Eunice Price, Sr. Chalmers entered into eternal life on February 24, 2015 with his family by his side. Chalmers was aa caring and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Chalmers will forever be remembered by his devoted wife of over 45 years, Beatrice Windham of Heidelberg, Mississippi; two daughters, Yolanda Windham of Racine, Wisconsin and Dornise Windham of Memphis, Tennessee; one son, Dwayne Windham of Racine, Wisconsin and one grandson, Josiah Windham-Dismuke of Racine, Wisconsin. He is further survived by two brothers, Ervin (Savannah) Windham, and Edward (Shirley) Windham and two sisters, Evelyn Ulmer and Beverly Windham all of Heidelberg, Mississippi and one brother-in-law Eunice Price, Jr. Also, he is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.
