Mr. Charles Ray Brown's Obituary
Charles Ray Brown was born October 15, 1956 to Oscar and Minnie Brown. At an early age, Charles joined St. John Baptist Church in Marion, MS. He attended Meridian Public Schools where he graduated from Meridian High School in 1976. Charles worked for many years at Malcolm Newell's Texaco Service Station where he developed a lifetime bond with Mr. Mac, the owner. He decided to open his own business, Ultimate Car Care, Inc., where he serviced and cared for many people's vehicles for the last 16 years. Charles made the journey to his eternal home on Saturday, October 20, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Minnie Brown, two brothers and two sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 36 years, Gloria Brown; one son, Travis Brown; mother-in-law, Estella Ivy; one brother-in-law, Jimmie Ivy; three brothers, Oscar Brown, Jr., William Brown, and Edward Lamar Brown; two sisters, Patsy Brown and Betty Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
