Mr. Charles E. Crawford's Obituary
Charles E. “Chuck” Crawford was born March 4, 1934 to the ate Mattie M. Graham and James Crawford. Both preceded him in death and his step father, Mr. Richard Graham in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. He departed this life on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Preceding him in death his wife Darsenia Ramsey Crawford, father, James Crawford, sister, Richard Lee and brother Lee Graham.
Charles received his education at William H. Holtzclaw High school in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. After graduation, he joined the United States Army.
Charles enjoyed many wonderful years of his life with his best friend and “soul mate” Darsenia Ramsey Crawford who preceded him in death one week earlier.
After his Army career, church retired from Amtrack Railroad. He loved driving the Meridian City School bus and working in his garden.
On October 28, Charles went from labor to reward. He will be missed by his family: son, Frank (Jacqueline) Crawford; grandchildren, Frankie Driver, Cedrick Crawford, Clarissa Crawford, Angela Caldwell, Cory Driver, Takeysha Frazier, Qiana King and a host of great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Chuck always exemplified a genuine love for life. He will always be remembered for his kindness and love of all people.
