Mr. Charles Wayne Griffin's Obituary
On January 27, 1955, Mr. Charles Wayne Griffin was born to the late Hyllard Griffin and the late Inez Johnson Griffin in Meridian, MS. He accepted Christ at an early age. Mr. Griffin attended Meridian Public Schools and upon graduation he enlisted in the army. Mr. Charles Wayne Griffin was a Loving and Devoted Husband, Daddy & Granddad. At the age of 63 years old, Mr. Charles Wayne Griffin departed his life at Anderson Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. He leaves his loving memories to his loving wife Rose Burge Griffin of Meridian, Ms ; his son Demarco Burge Sr. of Meridian, MS; His daughters Ketwanya Burge and Latricia Burge of Meridian, MS; two sisters Ivy Lou Jones of Anniston , AL, Veda Sparrow of Meridian , Ms and one brother Larry Griffin of Meridian , MS ; six brothers in laws James Lewis of Racine, WI , Billy Lewis , Barry Burge , John Lewis of Meridian , MS ; Demetri Chaney of Tupelo, MS ; and Casey Burge of Alpharetta , GA ; six sisters in laws Ruby Rush , Patricia Newell , Latrice Chaney , and Torie Granger of Meridian, MS; Anita Harris of Tupelo, MS and Tenia Hill of Shannon , MS ; ten grandchildren Dalvin Burge , Ketwan'Tavius Dean , Jasmine Burge , Kiera Burge , Demetrius Burge Jr, Demarco Burge Jr, Jacob Burge , Jaylen Smith , Amiyah Burge and Amarion Burge and a host of nieces , nephews and great nieces and great nephews • Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by his mother Inez Johnson Griffin, his father Hyllard Griffin, his son Demetrius Burge Sr., his sisters Mary Cole, Glenda Coleman, Irene Griffin, his brothers Ricky Griffin, Michael Griffin, and his grandparents Ivory Needham, Lieutenant Johnson Sr., Indiana Cole Griffin, Kutcher Griffin.
