Mr. Charles Lee Hopson's Obituary
Mr. Charles Lee Hopson was born on October 13, 1951 to the late Samuel and Fredoine Hopson in Lauderdale County. He departed this life on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Anderson Hospital. Charles confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Oak Grove Baptist Church of York Ala. He loved his career as a fogger, hauling wood until he retired. After he retired, he enjoyed mechanic work, grilling his famous chicken leg quarters, and enjoying family and friends that would visit with him in his backyard. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of forty-nine years, Isabell Hopson; Four Sons, Charles Deon (Breona) Hopson, of Calera, Al, Marcus Hopson of Jacksonville, FL, Curtis Charles (Janie) Lowe of Jackson, MS and Cortez (Regina) Blanks of Lauderdale, MS; Five daughters, LaToya (Dorelle) Bishop and Crystal Hopson both of Alabaster, Ala,.Tammie (Eugene) Smith of Toomsuba, MS, Winifred Baskin of Stone Mountain, GA and Carolyn (David) Parker of Lauderdale, MS; Eight brothers, David (Phyllis) Hopson, Jonathan (LaTanya) Hopson, Arthur James (Bessie) Hopson, Johnny (Annie) Hopson, Johnnie (Naomi) Jackson, Sammie (Eliza) Jackson, Clyde and Ralph Jackson. Six Sisters: Betty Thomas, Mattie (Walter) Johnson, Annie (Charles) Taylor, Wanda (Dennis) Ayers, Sandra (Clint) Williams and Shirley Gibbs; Nineteen grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephew and friends and a Special Aunt Mary Elizabeth Calvert of Saint Louis, MO
