Mr. Charles Lee Jasper's Obituary
Charles was born on March 29, 1952, to the late Samuel Jr. and Minnie Mae Jasper in Quitman, MS. He was a faithful member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, serving in various capacities until his health declined.
On August 13, 1976, Charles united in Holy Matrimony with Ora Lee Conner. To this union, three sons were born. Charles enjoyed yard work, cooking, hunting, fishing, and football, and was known for his love of family and the simple pleasures in life.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and three brothers:Jimmy, Jessie, and Joseph; one sister, Minnie Faye Jasper; and one son, Cornelus M. Wallace.
At the age of 73, Charles went home to be with the Lord on the night of May 7, 2025, from the comfort of his home. With his devoted wife by his side, and without any pain or suffering, he took a few final breaths and peacefully fell asleep.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 49 years, Ora Conner Jasper; three sons, Kendall (Tamika) Jasper of Tupelo, MS., Kristopher (Laiel) Jasper of Jackson, MS., and Jeffrey C. Sr. (Precious) Jasper of Hattiesburg, MS., a special niece, Dyamond Landcastor of Hattiesburg, MS., one brother, Larry E.Jasper of Quitman, MS., two sisters, Helen (Bobby) Buxton of Vossburg, MS., and Sue Ann Jasper of Tylertown, MS., six brothers-in-law and eight sisters-in-law, fourteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
