Mr. Charles Louis Larkin's Obituary
Charles Larkin was born on October 30, 1949 to the late Richard and Jeanette (McDonald) Larkin in Kewanee, Mississippi in the County of Lauderdale. He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Kewanee MS. Charles Louis Larkin was affectionately known as "Yellow Jacket" and was the fourth born child of his parents. Charles will always be remembered as a happy, kind, and always generous man with a great love for his children, grandchildren, and family. He was a stranger to no one and there was no place he went that he didn't meet a friend. His hobbies were trucking, dancing, and shooting the breeze with his family and friends. Charles Larkin (63) departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Jeff Anderson Regional Center. He leaves to cherish precious memories: Six (6) Daughters: Mary (Mark) Landrum, Antoinette Landrum, Iesha Carson, Miranda Faison, Amanda Faison, and Alana (Richard) Johnson Three (3) Sons: Terence Walker, Charles Landrum, and Coderius Larkin, Six(6) Brothers: Lucious (Lillie) Larkin, Roosevelt (Ruby) Larkin, Ray (Sheila) Larkin, Roy (Liz) Larkin, Aaron Larkin, and Wesley (Kathy) Larkin. Four (4) Sisters: Hattie Lee Thompson, Minnie Lee Edwards, Mary Helen Landrum, and Katie (Jerry) Alford. Twenty Three(23) grandchildren, Three (3) great-grandchildren, Two aunts: Gussie Wallace and Beatrice Hook A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers: Carl Larkin, John "JD" Larkin, Monroe Larkin, Sr., Richard Larkin, and Willie Larkin; two sisters: Ada Lee Ward and Leona Gates and a grandson: Javeon Faison.
