Mr. Charles E. Maxie, Jr.'s Obituary
Charles Edward Maxie, Jr. (aka "Junior") was born on December 20. 1968 to Charles Edward Maxie, Sr. and Mary nan (Mccoy) Maxie. Both parents preceded him in death. Junior was educated in the Meridian Public School system and excelled there in sports. Upon graduating high school. he attended East Mississippi Community College in Scooba. MS. Junior had a big heart and never met a stranger. He was always willing to share whatever he had no matter what it was. He liked making people smile whether he had to sing or break out in a dance. He loved life and would often say, “I’m just going to be me”. Junior left this life October 31, 2020. Those left to remember his life include his daughters Ashley Powe (Meridian, MS) and Courtney Dubose ( Meridian, MS); his sister, Angela Lewis (James) of Meridian. MS; Georgina Croft and Brandon Hickman of Meridian. MS.; many aunts. uncles, cousins. nephews. nieces and friends and the Class of 1987
