Mr. Charles Rico Scott II's Obituary
Mr. Charles Rico Scott II, age 32, died Friday, August 7, 2020 at Anderson Medical Center in Meridian.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Berry and Gardner OP Chapel. Public Visitation immediately following.
Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery.

Charles Rico Scott II was born September 7, 1987 to Charles Rico Scott, Sr. and Charlotte Rush Scott in Fort Stewart, GA.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age where he joined First Apostolic Church of West Meridian. At his demise, he was faithfully serving as Media Technician for Comin Clean Market Ministries in Meridian.
He received his education from the Meridian City School System as well as the Lauderdale County School System. He was a 2006 graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School in Meridian. He also attended Meridian Community College where he received an Associate Degree in Graphic Designs.
He had worked as Head Lifeguard and Swim Instructor for the City of Meridian serving at Highland Park and Velma Young. Currently, he was employed as a package handler with the United Parcel Service (UPS) in Meridian for the past fourteen years, and as Head Lifeguard at the Meridian Community College Fitness Center.
Survivors are: parents, Min. Charles Rico Scott, Sr. and Ambassador Charlotte Rush Scott of Meridian; three siblings – two brothers and one sister, Charles
Matthew Scott, Charles Jeremiah Scott, and Majesti Charleen Scott, all of Meridian.
He’s preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Theodis Scott and Essie Bohannon Scott, and maternal grandparents, Arthur Richardson “Red” Rush and Annie Ruth Clayborne Rush.

Visitations
- All visitations are limited to one hour and no more than ten (10) people allowed in the chapel at one time.
- Temperatures must be taken upon entering the lobby. Temperatures 100 degrees or more will not be allowed to enter.
- All visitors must wear a mask and are not allowed to touch, hug or kiss the body.
Graveside Services
- All in attendance must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing (separation of at least 6 feet).
